01 Hazard classification
Toxic for Reproduction — Article 57(c) of REACH
This product contains a substance classified as toxic for reproduction. Exposure during pregnancy or while nursing may harm the developing foetus or nursing child.
The hazardous substance in this article is bound inside the material and is not released during normal, intended use. During normal operation, our products may generate small amounts of dust particles, for example through mechanical wear; these particles are not hazardous. Risk of exposure to the REACH-listed substance is minimal under standard handling conditions.
02 Processing & disassembly restrictions
No disassembly of our products may be carried out, except in accordance with specific written instructions provided by Xeryon. Under no conditions may our products undergo further processing, such as cutting, grinding, or sanding.
03 Electrical safety
- Do not touch or probe electronic components while our products are in operation.
- Our products may not be altered or modified in any way.
04 Safe handling requirements
- Wear insulating, powder-free nitrile or latex gloves when handling our products, to prevent contamination of the products with grease, oils, or other dust from skin contact.
- Our products may only be installed, operated, maintained, or serviced by appropriately qualified personnel
05 Hygiene practices
Do not smoke, eat, or drink in areas where materials are being handled.
06 Waste management & disposal
- Do not mix with municipal waste.
- Before disposal or recovery, determine if the used product is classified as hazardous waste according to national, regional, or local legislation.
