Precision Motion Systems for Manufacturing Automation
Every extra millimeter, gram, and integration hour shows up somewhere on your project — in the footprint, the budget, or the schedule.

Why Compact, Cost-Efficient Motion Wins in Manufacturing Automation
The numbers, not just the specs.
Smaller Footprint, Fewer Components

No Compromise on Precision

Lower Total Cost of Ownership

Full Flexibility

Higher Payload Capacity
"At first, I found it hard to believe this level of performance could come from such a compact package. Xeryon's technology was the only solution that made it possible to downsize our design and build the machine our company had envisioned, enabling the next generation of automated test equipment. Their team was also incredibly helpful in answering all of our integration question."

Manufacturing Automation Use Cases & Applications We Enable

01 / Micro Pick & Place
The Challenge:
Handling miniature components requires ultra-fast positioning. Using miniature stepper setups in micro pick and place automation can result in position overshoot and long settling times before the mechanism can safely release the component.
Xeryon Solution:
Mini/Micro Linear Actuators, Piezo Linear Stages & Micro Rotation Stages — direct-drive piezo motion provides fast and precise straight-line movement, fine positioning, and angular alignment in micro pick and place systems. They can support tasks such as moving a pick head or component along a linear axis, adjusting position before release, or rotating miniature parts for precise orientation, while reducing backlash, overshoot, and settling time.
Benefit:
Achieves exceptionally fast settling times, down to 20 ms, directly increasing cycles per minute (CPM) in high-speed micro pick and place systems.

03 / Lightweight End-of-Arm Tooling (EOAT)
The Challenge:
Adding heavy components to the end of a robotic arm degrades acceleration, increases settling times, and reduces Tool Center Point (TCP) tracking precision. Traditional electromagnetic or pneumatic actuators require bulky housings and manifolds.
Xeryon Solution:
Mini/Micro Linear Actuators, Piezo Linear Stages & Micro Rotation Stages — starting at just 5.9 grams, ultra-low-mass piezo motion enables lightweight EOAT actuation and precise micro-positioning at the end of a robotic arm. The compact, direct-drive design helps reduce end-of-arm mass, while the self-locking mechanism holds position without continuous power, minimizing heat generation during static holding. Compared with traditional pneumatic solutions, which often require complex linkages to transfer motion or clamping force to the action point, Xeryon's compact linear and rotary solutions can be installed closer to where the motion is needed. In feedback-enabled configurations, the controller can monitor position and key operating parameters in real time, helping users optimize engagement cycles and reduce cycle time.
Benefit:
By radically downsizing the EOAT mass, the robot arm gains higher acceleration and improved stop-and-go agility, eliminating unnecessary "dead weight" for micro-positioning tasks.

Why Automation Design Engineers Choose Our Positioning Systems
Explore & Consult
A technical call with an integration engineer — motion profile, payload, speed, accuracy, environment, timeline. If it is not a fit, we say so early.
Define
A refined quote, defined scope, volume estimates, and a clear timeline before you commit to anything.
Validate
Evaluation units, live demos, expedited delivery, and startup pricing to de-risk the decision before full commitment.
Design & Prototype
Hands-on support while you design and integrate — application guidance, fast engineering answers, proactive follow-up through prototype validation..
Launch & Partner
On-time delivery at volume and continued engineering input as your design evolves, long after the first order ships.
"Our laser systems use a large number of motorized optics. After experiencing quality and delivery issues with our main supplier, we decided to give Xeryon a try. They have proven to be a reliable supplier, and we found their piezo actuators to be much more durable than the ones we used before."
